John Elliot
Leader’s School
John Elliot made GCVDC #83 and sat at the table of Joshua. He has been married to his wife, Susan for 40 years, and they live in West Palm Beach and worship together at First Baptist Church in Lantana, FL. They have four children, three of whom live locally, and one grandchild who adds joy and energy to their lives whenever she visits.
John works in Sales for a Wholesale Electrical Distributor in the area, supplying equipment for commercial, industrial and residential projects. When not working, he loves to get outdoors to hike, ride bikes with Susan and explore nature with his camera in hand.
He is also very involved in Celebrate Recovery ministry, a 12-step Christ-centered program of recovery from life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups, having experienced first hand the hope and strength that comes from Christ through others.
John serves on the Secretariat because he wants others to experience the joy that comes with being part of a Christian community living out grace and serving each other with the love of Jesus.
Conduct Leaders Schools, and plan and supervise “Wives Meetings”.
The Secretariat…
The love and grace that pours from the GCVDC community is a true testament to how God works through our lives. Before VDC, I had no idea the amount of love that exists to us. VDC has changed my life in such an impactful way. Not only is my relationship with Christ so much stronger, but also the growth I have seen within myself has been remarkable. Surrounding yourself with a community of people who believe in you and cheer you on at every season of your life has made the difference. If you are looking to find an amazing, supportive community of believers, look no further and come join our family.
Gold Coast Via de Cristo is one of the purest organizations I have ever been a part of. The Via de Cristo Weekend is a powerful tool to growing spiritually, growing in your understanding of God’s love and grace, and growing in Christian leadership.
Via De Cristo is the life time opportunity to experience the love and grace of God in a community environment that will provide you with the tools to grow in Christ for all your life.
